The Board of Trustees of the Mount Morris Library has appointed Dr. M. Fernanda Astiz as Mount Morris Library’s new library director. Fernanda is excited to be working alongside the Board of Trustees, library staff, and Friends of the Library to best serve Mount Morris Library’s patrons and the community.
She has previously worked at Canisius College, Daemen University Library, Stevens Memorial Library, and for The New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision library system.
She brings a wealth of experience and ideas and looks forward to working in a smaller library environment and connecting with the community.
